DEAR sir,
The Sterritt Memorial Ulster Scots Society and Drumming Club would like to respond to an article that appeared in your paper on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 under the heading ‘Disregard for people’.
WORK to carry out a major £2 million enhancement scheme in Solitude Park and create a Memorial Park at the Gate Lodge in Banbridge at a cost of £250,000 got underway this week.
THE opening of the newly expanded £1.7m community recycling centre on the Scarva Road received a unanimous ‘green’ thumbs up last week by the large crowd who attended the event.
